Rodger Holscher –
I love the construction of this bag. With the Pannier and Lid combo you have so many options. I easily handles 3 day hunts to day trips. Used it 95% of the time this year in that configuration. Highly recommend this pack system especially with the 2K, Pannier and Lid.

Hey Rodger, I see you have the extra lid accessory on the IA2K pack. I’ve noticed that the 2K pack doesn’t have any tie down straps/clips to connect the bottom of the lid to the pack. Am I missing something here? how did the this set up work for you, any issues? Cheers!

This bag is awesome, it fits great and is very comfortable. I used it most of hunting season but didn’t get to use it to pack a deer because my deer died right of the road 🙂 Hopefully next year I can use it to pack an animal.

I have tried SO many packs in the last decade, and I had given up that every pack was just going to hurt no matter if I was just backpack hunting, rifle, archery, short/day hunt, or a longer overnight hunt. Every pack made seemed to kill my shoulders and all would hit the back of my head when I was climbing the mountain. I had been watching IA on IG/FB, but I doubted that anything would help me. I was shooting Mountain Archery Fest and came across the IA booth. That day changed my hunting capabilities forever. Dennis loaded a pack with 50# of weights after fitting one to me. It felt great! I have the IA2K and now the IA4K as well for longer hunts or for when I might have to carry more gear. I love them both. I carried a front quarter, backstraps, heart, and tenderloins of my spike elk off a steep and big mountain this year. I was tired and sore, but didn’t hurt in my shoulders or back at all. It was just what I had been searching for! Comfort really is everything.
