Warehouse Assistant

Position Summary

Initial Ascent is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations and ensure a best-in-class customer experience. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory readiness, assembling pack systems, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and understands that every package shipped represents the Initial Ascent brand.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Pack Assembly

· Build and maintain inventory of completed pack systems to support customer demand.

· Backstock pack components, accessories, and merchandise to ensure uninterrupted production and order fulfillment.

· Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.

· Assist with quarterly physical inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.

Order Fulfillment

· Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.

· Prepare shipping cartons and packaging materials for daily order processing.

· Verify order accuracy before shipment.

· Ensure orders are processed in accordance with company quality standards.

Warehouse Operations

· Utilize Warehouse Management Software to process inventory movements, order fulfillment, and shipping transactions.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

· Perform daily warehouse closing procedures to ensure readiness for the next business day.

· Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining warehouse inventory locations.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

Customer Experience

· Handwrite personalized thank-you notes for customer orders.

· Ensure all shipments reflect the premium quality and customer-first values of the Initial Ascent brand.

· Assist in maintaining packaging and presentation standards for outbound shipments.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.

· Experience using warehouse management software is a plus.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.

· Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.

· Able to go up and down platform ladder with boxes.

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
